Theme:
“Memories”
“Remember God”
Voice 1: Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.
Voice 2: Forget not all His benefits?
Voice 1: Forget not all His benefits!
Voice 3: Benefits?
Voice 4: What benefits?
Voice 1: … who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
Voice 3: Forgiveness!
Voice 4: Healing!
Voice 1: … who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.
Voice 2: Redemption!
Voice 4: Love!
Voice 3: Compassion!
Voice 1: … who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Voice 4: Good things!
Voice 2: Renewal!
Voice 1: The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the
oppressed.
Voice 4: Righteousness!
Voice 3: Justice!
Voice 1: He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will
He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins
deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
Voice 2: Now that’s good news!
Voices 3 & 4: Good news!
Voice 1: For as high as the heavens are above the earth …
Voice 3: How high?
Voice 1: For as high as the heavens (arm stretched up high) are above the earth (point to ground), so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west …
Voice 4: How far?
Voice 1: … as far as the east (arm stretched out left) is from the west (arm stretched out right), so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Voices 2, 3 & 4: (looking at each other) More good news!
Voice 1: As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.
Voice 2: As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its
place remembers it no more.
Voice 3: But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their
children’s children—
Voice 4: ... with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
All: Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
Voice 2: Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.
